I had a "J" chair back in the '70s and couldn't believe they fell out of popularity. 10 years ago you couldn't find one no matter how hard you looked. Now they call it a gaming chair and have made it better and more useful than the original. The comfort is best when you have a small foot-stool so you can recline, but rocking while watching an action movie is great too. We'll see how well the vinyl holds up on the rockers on our hardwood floors. The weight of the chair makes it feel well built and the sound is far better than I would have expected for this price. If you find a deal on this chair, you won't be sorry if you buy it.

I am not generally a gamer, my reasons for purchasing this chair was that I thought it would be nice for pulling right up to the big screen TV and plugging in directly to the blu-ray player(the couches are on the other side of the room). and it works admirably for that purpose.

My one complaint was that while bolting on the bracket for one of the armrests one of the bolts didn't align well to the hole so it didn't go in all the way, it didn't stop the chair from being useful but I was disappointed by that bit of bad construction.

            Product was easy to set up. My son is 5'6 and fits in the chair perfect. Has nice sound. Cords are a lil short and the armrest are horrible! Unable to attach armrest as the screws don't fit, but my son doesn't think it's a big deal so that's why I'm keeping it.
